How to set up your email in Outlook

  • Open Outlook and from the menu bar choose Tools → Email accounts.

  • Choose 'Add a new email account'

  • Choose account type → POP3

  • Add the following information:

    • under 'User Information'

      • 'Your name' enter any name you want to appear as a return address name when sending email. i.e. 'bob'

      • E-mail address' enter the email address yo want to appear as a return email address when sending email i.e. bob@nocerino.com or bob@hotmail.com

    • under 'Login Information

      • 'User Name' enter the user name gotten from nocerino.com i.e. 'bob'

      • 'Password' enter the password gotten from nocerino.com

    • under 'Server Information'

      • 'Incoming mail server (POP3)' enter 'mail.nocerino.com'

      • 'Outgoing mail server (SMTP)' enter 'mail.nocerino.com'
    • DO NOT check the box marked 'Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)'
  • Choose → 'More settings'
    • click on the tab marked 'Outgoing Server'
    • check the box marked 'My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication'
    • check the box marked 'Use the same settings as my incoming server'
    • leave the box marked 'Log on to the incoming mail server before sending mail' unchecked
